About Advantage Interlock
Advantage Interlock is in the business of separating drinking from driving. We do this by installing breath alcohol ignition interlock device (BAIID) in the cars of DUI offenders. Advantage Interlock is the largest service provider of ignition interlock devices and exclusive distributor of the LifeSafer™ Ignition Interlock device in Southern California, Arizona, and Central Texas.
We have over 15 years of experience with Ignition Interlock devices and technology, but most importantly, we incorporate this experience with effective programs to ensure that you will have a cost-effective and easy way to return to driving, and regain your license.
Our ignition interlock device is a small electronic handheld device wired into a vehicle's ignition system. The device requires the driver to take and pass a test that screens for breath alcohol. Once the test is passed the car will start and you can proceed with your daily activities. If however you have alcohol in your system greater than the threshold level you car will not start. Several design features make circumvention and tampering of the device difficult.
All events, breaths test, engine on or off, etc are recorded and stored in the device memory. This information is available for you review and may be sent to the appropriate agency. The device meets or exceeds National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) standards, and is certified in All states that have ignition interlock requirements.
